Sligo players in Connacht Juvenile B finals. Aoife Quinn on Connacht team for Interprovincials

Sligo will have 2 teams competing in the Connacht Juvenile B 40 x 20 championships finals on Saturday 13th April In the Boys U-14 doubles final Castleconnor’s Michael Cahill & Paul Flynn face Mark Clogher & Mark Tracey from Roscommon while in the Boys U-17 doubles final Ballymote’s Padraic O'Dowd & Sean Golden are aiming to make it Sligo double as the pair meet Galway’s Thomas Geraghty & Eoin Lyons for the provincial title.

Saturday April 13th in Charlestown at 11 am

BU17D Pauraic O’Dowd, Sean Golden (Sligo) v Thomas Geraghty & Eoin Lyons (Galway)

Quinn represents Connacht on Interprovincial Girls team of 10 competition

Kingscourts hosts the Interprovincial team of 10 competition at the weekend. The competition is for girls from U-13 to U-17.Sligo's Aoife Quinn is a member of the Connacht squad and teams up with Roscommon's Fiona Tully the doubles.  Quinn already holds a Interprovincial title with the province and will be hoping to add another title

The Connacht team is as follows

Cora Conlon (Mayo) & Roisin Ni Ghionnuin (Galway)
Heather Spellamn (Galway) & Elaine Nee (Galway)
Eimear Ni Bhiadha (Galway) & Anna Ni Odhrain Ni Mhurchu (Galway)
Fiona Tully (Roscommon) & Aoife Quiin (Sligo)
Cianna Ni Churraoin (Galway) & Mary Fahy (Galway)
Sub: Elaine Mitchell (Galway)

Connacht will take on Leinster in the semi-final with the winners to play Munster or Ulster in the final.
