Quinn aiming to reach All-Ireland Juvenile handball final

 

Castleconnor’s Aoife Quinn takes on Laois’s Niamh Dunne in the All-Ireland Juvenile handball 40 x 20 championships semi-finals tomorrow Saturday in Moycullen. The Sligo teenager came through Connacht unscathed but will face a tough task against the Leinster champion in Laois’s Niamh Dunne. Quinn who reached 2 All-Ireland finals in 2012 will be hoping to go one step further this year and will be aiming for an historic Juvenile handball title for Sligo.  Aoife coached by her father Oisin will be hopeful of continuing to push for major honours and with a little bit of luck could very well make the breakthrough.  The action gets underway at the Galway venue at 11.30 am tomorrow.
